According to the stream of times, Requiring the mathematical ability have been changed. Former times just need the first consideration to algorithm such as calculative mathematic, but nowadays Mathematics is required contemplative faculty and application to real life. Consequently It has been a lot of change in mathematics class in schools. Nevertheless, It still remains the way of traditional lecture style, sometimes applies to cooperations studying or writing in lectures. Especially cooperating studying is the most utilized in mathematics class. That's why we have lots of paper which has a application to cooperating study to students. However, A variety of lecture style applied to student, they normally came out a side-effect. Even Cooperating studying have a side-effect. The biggest weak point of group-studying is that we couldn't notice the effort or the result of individuals in small groups. In the groups, always they have a member who is tried to achieve the goal, nevertheless, someone who isn't tried to accomplish the task, Just they wants to share the goal with them, This member usually we called "free-rider". They just want to be led by other students. For that reason, To make for the defect of cooperating study, we apply to 'competitive studying' in the class.
Giving an example, Competitive study between groups is half as large again as cooperating study. Because the former doesn't have a free-rider in the team, they improved the willing of accomplishment and the result of achievement than the latter. To win the competition, individual member carries out their responsibility to accomplish their task. That's why the free-rider, who doesn't take part in the learning activity, couldn't survive in competitive groups.
According to the competitive studying with the presentation activity, that improves the ability of presentation and we give a chance to the all of the member in the class, every student in the class takes part in lecture without looker-on.

<Research-B> Does it have any difference between the student who attends in competitive class with presentation and the student who take a normal lecture?
This research tested in the second grade of B high school in Seoul.
Moreover, this research were approached with achievement in solving the problem class. The first lecture, the beginning of the class and the end of the class had a competitive class each, so in twice in the same class. It illustrates the presentation process.
At first, the student, who's picked by teacher, choose a
competitor. They are going to solve the same question.
Between two students, anyone who is solved the
problem at first, have a chance to presentation. That
student takes a prize.
Findings upon investigation, It has a difference between control groups and testing groups of achievement. Moreover, It has a positive effect on student such as self-confidence, dependence, curious and self-examination than control groups. Especially Taking a presentation class has a magnificently positive effect on self-confidence.
Normally a weak-point of competitive class is the negative mental state to each student. However, when I researched this study, It couldn't come out that effect on the surface.
In conclusion, Competitive studying is better than traditional lecture style. If It had a normalized a psychological test, It would be come out another result. During the research time I am inconvenienced by not having a psychological test in the class, though, I look forward to being better class.
