신경범죄학과 화이트칼라 범죄에 관한 소고(小考) = A Brief Review on Neurocriminology and White-Collar Crime

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The necessity of research on White-Collar Criminal‘s personality traits has increased. We can suggest that white-collar criminals have high level of attentional and functional ability related to their crimes due to special neuroscientific characteristics. That is why Rational-Choice Theory has been challenged by new sociobiological researches although white-collar criminals was considered to commit crimes based on rational decision. This article introduced theoretical study about wcc’s neurocognitive function and brain characteristics based on domestic and overseas references. According to Wisconsin Card Sorting Test and Skin Conductance, executive and attentional functioning which constitutes WCC``s personality traits, is superior to that of street criminals. Cortical thickness of whit-collar criminals turned out to be higher than street criminals, which was known as being relevant to criminal intention or neurocognitive function.
