Modern art has many works inspired by the peculiar imagination of an artist. objects exist in the art in any shape. And meaning is not in the internal factor, but from a line of connection where it is. Modern art has been changing continuously through the development of objects, in which the world is seen in a new point of view, escaping from that of illusion art to represent real figures and usual things has given unusual meaning by comparing its experience and a line of connection.
Everything in the world, no longer meaningless, is put in waves of variation where it becomes the subject of art and artists choose to recognize it as artistic work. It's definite fact that students in modern society have to be educated in accord with a flow of modern art. It is necessary in part to express imagination by object throughout art curriculums, and it encourages students to imagine freely. Unlimited thought allows students to do a wide range of activities with various subjects, methods, and materials, which leads to creative expression and higher-quality art education.
I designed an interesting and suitable program for students to apply some specific objects, such as ready-made objects, assemblage objects, depaysement objects, and simulacre objects, for Imagination Expression. Instructions would be guided to make students trigger interest in art activity, discover figures, reflect their line of connection into usual things, and foster a sense of modeling, ultimately leading imagination to function creatively in art activities.
In chapter Ⅱof this paper, I would investigate an original meaning of imagination from other studies, papers, document at home and abroad, and look into the value of Imagination Expression to art education. In this course, I would look at the development of imagination power and present a basis of object application curriculum for Imagination Expression instruction.
In chapter Ⅲ, a variety of documents would reinforce the concept and development of objects in modern art. I would look at the artistic and educational value of objects and arrange the meaning of the object's application for Imagination Expression instruction.
In chapter Ⅳ, the present condition of objects instruction would be searched for in elementary art education, in order to make a connection in object application for Imagination Expression instruction. Instructions and directions would be established to improve 7th grade elementary art curriculum and improved in textbooks by analyzing previous problems and correcting them. With ready-made objects, assemblage objects, depaysement objects, and simulacre objects among object expression types to consider intellectual levels and the development of study subject, systemic application plans for Imagination Expression would be established which tend toward a constructive point of view to include its line of connection.
In chapter Ⅴ, as an example of object's practical application for Imagination Expression Instruction, proper programs would be developed and suggested to use object expression type in line with student's level. "Apparently one, but differing widely in outlook" program, expressing same subject, 'liberty', by ready-made objects, was designed for each student to compare how they consider the meaning of liberty and to give an idea through selecting different objects. depaysement objects were used for the class throughout the program, ' This is ...' where new meaning was discovered by making objects unfamiliar and 'self-portrait' programs to express self-representing objects as assemblage in usual objects. Finally, I would make students put their mind into surrounding objects by using a 'travel bag' program from which they could pack a 'travel bag', having original objects as simulacre, by themselves.
As a result of this class application, I analyzed curriculum, student's plan and works, and their response after class by questioning. Students represent their interests in the class by using this method of object expressions, which showed to be suitable for their intellectual desires. They also felt satisfaction and preciousness of their object method was helpful for Imagination Expression and stimulated their thinking and imaging power.
To conclude, Imagination Expression Instruction by application of object expression types made it possible to develop student's imagination power and experience infinite possibility and understanding of object. It also allowed for the realization of the artistic and educational value objects have, as discovering and selecting an object's significance in relation to its line of connection. Students could recognize themselves as the starting point of information flow by thinking and imaging out of material objects.
As described above, Imagination Expression by object application needs to be studied continuously and has useful value in the class, transforming it in accord to student's level, because of its significant educational effects.
