고등학교 한국사 교과서의 고려-몽골 관계 서술 분석 - ‘몽골의 내정간섭’ 항목을 중심으로 - = An Analysis into the Description of the Goryeo-Mongol Relation in the High School Korean History Textbook - Focusing on the Contents of ‘Interference in Internal Affairs by Mongol’ -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

What's been mentioned as the elements of 'interference in internal affairs by Mongol' in the high school Korean history textbook, that is, Jeongdong haengseong(征東行省), Darughachi, and Manhobu(萬戶府), cannot be the ground for continuous interference during 'Yuan Intervention Period.’ Mongol didn't allocate permanent government officials or offices but adopted the method of intervening in internal affairs by frequently dis patching ambassadors when a political issue occurred between the two countries. It was possible because Mongol Qa’an subjugated kings of Goryeo completely. He made kings of Goryeo succeed to the throne only under his permission, and often exhibited his power by dethroning or investing a king of Goryeo or summoning him to or detaining in Mongol. In addition, Qa’an maintained power of command on kings or candidates for king of Goryeo by making them continue to perform Chinjo(attendance to the Qa’an court, 親朝) and Sukwi(escorting Qa’an, 宿衛). Therefore, in order to properly deliver the truth of interference in internal affairs by Mongol to students, its key factor of the firm subordinate relation between the two countries, needs to be reflected substantially in the textbook.
