5량가 후퇴칸형 주불전에 있어서 장방형 단면비례를 갖는 예불공간의 특성 = Characteristics of Worship-Space with Longitudinal Proportion in Cross-Section of 5Ryangga Hutoekan Type in the Central Hall of Buddhist Temple

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to examine the cross-section proportion which is formed by depth and height of worship-space with 5ryangga hutoekan types where direct doctrines are delivered in the central hall buddhist temples. The 5ryangga hutoekan types show general ratio of 1:0.83 in cross-section proportion. But, there are some cases which have a proportion of 1:0.66 even though the spaces have worship-spaces with 5ryangga hutoekan types in the central hall buddhist temples. This study is to be executed to identify the spatial characteristics of exceptional cases with these targeting spaces which have such exceptional longitudinal proportions.
Study results showed that inner columns were put backward in order to secure the depth of worship-space and weight of upper roof was lightened by using Dut-dory(道理) to solve structural problems which could occur in the future. At this moment, sights were led up to the ceiling by using inclined ceiling. If these cross-section proportions are reevaluated, it could be seen that the exceptional cases also have similar proportions of 1:0.83 which are shown in most cases.
