청소년 성폭력가해자들의 피해자 공감향상을 위한 프로그램개발 및 효과 = Program Development for Victim Empathy Enhancing in Juvenile Sexual Offenders

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년 성폭력 가해자를 대상으로 피해자에 대한 공감향상 및 성범죄재발 방지를 위해 Marshall과 Fernandez(2002)의 공감발달 4단계모형을 기반하여 피해자 공감향상 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증 하였다. 본 연구에서는 타인조망력등 피해자 공감 핵심요소를 토대로 총 10회기 프로그램으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 성폭력 범죄로 수강명령을 받은 보호관찰 청소년들로 연구에 동의한 실험집단(3집단) 24명과 비교집단(2집단) 21명이다. 실험집단은 피해자 공감향상 프로그램을 비교집단은 인지행동 프로그램으로 진행하였다. 연구 결과 실험집단이 비교집단에 비해 ‘자기 성폭력 피해자’와 ‘일반 폭력사건피해자’에 대한 공감수준이 유의하게 향상되었고 ‘대인간 공감력’ 및 ‘타인조망력’도 유의하게 높아졌다. ‘강간통념’의 변화는 각 집단 내에서 유의하게 낮아졌다. 이러한 결과는 실험집단 프로그램개입이 청소년성폭력 가해자들의 피해자에 대한 공감력과 대인간 공감(IRI)수준을 향상시키고 강간통념지수는 낮추어 향후 성폭력 재발을 방지할 수 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to verify the effect of the program-development for enhancing empathy to the victim of juvenile sexual offender. The study of empathy-deficiency to the victim is carried out through the preliminary research and pilot study. This program is composed on the basis of the Victim Empathy Model and Empathy Theory(Marshall, 1995). The composition of Victim Empathy program was developed according to the four stages - emotion recognition, perspective taking, emotion replication, and response decision - and performed for forty hours in ten sessions. First, in the scale of measuring Empathy to the Victim, the Treatment for Enhancing Empathy to the Victim(TEEV) enhanced significantly compared with the cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT). Second, in the measurement of Interpersonal Reactivity Index(IRI), the TEEV also changed significantly contrary to the CBT. Lastly, there is no significant difference between the two groups in measuring Rape Myth. In accordance with this result, TEEV is more effective than CBT in the scale of measuring Empathy to the Victim and IRI, while Rape Myth does not show noticeable result. And so forth, the meaning, restriction, application, and suggestion for follow-up research of TEEV is discussed.
