한국 기업의 대(對)중국 해외직접투자 철수요인에 관한 연구 = A Study on Foreign Direct Divestment by Korean firms from China

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is designed to investigate the causes of the FDI divestment of Korean companies from China. The purpose of this study is to provide useful information regarding the divestment from China by Korean companies, and point out the issues of FDI in China.
At first, many Korean companies did not prepare their background research properly before investing in China. This brought to the business difficulty in China.
The economic policy changes by the Chinese government went from focusing on quality development to quantity development. The new policies are focused on increased social welfare and developing technology. These policy changes may present new risks to Korean companies.
Thus, foreign direct investment in China, this paper analyzes the factors and the withdrawal of the challenges and to propose countermeasures.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중국은 개혁과 개방으로 과거 30년 동안, 특히 WTO에 가입한 이후 고도의 경제성장을 지속해, 90년대에는 성장률이 약간 떨어졌지만 여전히 연 8% 이상의 높은 성장을 보이고 있다. 그러나 최근 중국의 투자환경 변화로 인해 급증하던 한국의 대(對)중국 해외직접투자가 꾸준히 감소하여 2008년에는 중국은 한국의 제 일 투자 대상국의 지위를 내주게 되었다. 최근 급속한 성장 후유증인 인플레로 인해 중국은 인건비 메리트를 잃게 되어 최근 한국 기업들은 대(對)베트남과 대(對)캄보디아에 투자를 점점 늘려가고 있다. 더불어, 범세계적으로 일어난 경제위기는 한국기업, 특히 중소기업들의 중국 현지 경영을 더욱 어렵게 만들어서 대(對) 중국의 투자 철수 건수도 많아졌다.
따라서 본 논문은 한국기업의 대(對)중국 해외직접투자의 철수요인을 분석하고 해외직접투자 문제점을 파악하여 그 대응책을 제시하고자 한다.
