u-러닝의 적용현황 및 발전방안에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined e-learning, ubiquitous computing, and u-learning, then analyzed some cases of u-learning model schools in order to find out ways of effective u-learning.
This study centered on the u-learning in elementary and middle schools at home and abroad. At home, ubiquitous techniques and environment were discussed focusing on higher education institutions and the field of techniques. It wasn't until 2005 that u-learning penetrated elementary and middle schools. In 2005, some elementary and middle schools which were designated as u-learning model schools began study of u-learning in cooperation with governmental and nongovernmental institutes. The u-learning model schools are studying the possibility of application and effectiveness of u-learning by using educational aids such as TPC, PDA, and UMPC. The schools are having difficulty because of the lack of specific models or supporting contents. In spite of that, they show the success of u-learning.
By using wire & wireless internet and mobile terminals, they helped students, teachers and parents interact. They affirmed that mobile terminals could be used as aids in the learning process.
However, for the success of u-learning, technical systems should be supported and contents should be developed and distribute. In addition, studies on learning environment should accompany it. As an effective u-learning model, the blended learning model was introduced.
