      A study on Parent Movement in Korea

      The parents movement indicates the organized activities that parents understand themselves with the subjects of educational right and make every effort for improvement of euducational environment.
      There are the groups for this parents movement. But I constituted three groups and analyze the current condition by their history, organization, activities.
      The results of three group's views for three hot issue about education are as follows :
      First, In connection with introducing of NEIS(National Education Information System), ANPTE(Association of National Parents for True Education) is opposed positively and FPRHE(Federation of Parents for the Realization of Human Education) and GPLS(Group of Parents Loving School) agreed to introduction of NEIS.
      Second, In connection with introducing and enlargement of self-supporting private shcool, ANPTE is opposed positively and FPRHE and GPLS agreed to introduction and enlargement of this school.
      Third, In connection with enforcement of the evoluational system for teacher, ANPTE, FPRHE and GPLS asserted the participation of parents positively.
      Thus three groups stand on their opinion for three issue in accordance to their object and faith. I expect this opinion have a good effect upon the field of education and I suggest that the parents movement groups settle the educational problem as follows :
      First, the parents movement groups should make the opportunity and subject on the school spot that parents can participate.
      Second, the parents movement groups should make the opportunity that teacher and parents maintain the relationship by mutual understanding and spirit of cooperation.
      Third, the parents movement groups have need of practice and grope for conversion of parents' consciousness
