초등학생용 독서성향척도 개발 및 타당화 = A Validation Study for the Survey of Elementary Student`s Reading Disposition

This study was conducted to explore the comprehensive structure of elementary student``s reading disposition and to examine its reliability and validity. Study 1 exploratory factor analysis. A pool of preliminary items were selected, based on the past research used. The exploratory factor analysis of Reading Disposition Questionnaire(RDQ) was conducted in order to assess the underlying structure of the instrument. For this study, data was collected from 500 elementary students by survey questionnaires. The result showed 7 factors, 29 items. Study 2 conducted to verify the validity of RDQ based on confirmatory factor analysis. For this study, data was collected from 309 elementary students by survey questionnaires. The result indicated a satisfactory fit for the 7-factor model of RDQ, and a secondary factor analysis revealed that the 7-factors were well converged into the higher factor of the whole reading disposition. Finally, implications and limitations of these results were discussed.
