평가 영역에 가중치를 부여한 교육용 웹 사이트 평가 모델 개발 = (A) study on the web site estimation model development for education that give weight in estimation item

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대 사회는 급속한 IT 기술의 발전으로 컴퓨터 통신의 사용은 이미 보편화 되어 있으며 학교를 비롯하여, 공공기관, 기업 등에서도 멀티미디어 코스웨어가 제작되어 사용되고 있다. 그러나 멀티미디어의 다양성과, 제작 기법의 발달에 비하여 그 교육적 효과나 활용성이 기대에 미치지 못하는 경우가 많다. 이는 코스웨어의 제작에 있어서 기술적 요소와 교수 설계적 요소가 조화를 이루지 못한데서 오는 결과라고 볼 수 있다.
본 논문은 코스웨어에 멀티미디어 요소를 적절하게 삽입하여 학습자의 학습 동기를 최대한 유발하고 학습자가 학습에 직접 참여 하도록 하여 학습자들에게 학습의 주체로서의 역할을 충분히 수행하여 효율적인 학습효과를 창출해 낼 수 있도록 하였다.
또한 웹상에서 실습 과목을 학습하는데 문제점을 파악하여 이를 해결하기 위한 교수 설계방안을 제시하였다. 기존의 코스웨어에서는 전반적으로 처음부터 끝까지 음성 강의를 주로 한 경우가 대다수였으며 이러한 코스웨어는 학습 중간 중간에 음성이 끊기거나 화면이 중지되는 경우가 생기므로 해서 학습자들로부터 지속적인 주의 집중이 어려웠으며, 이론부분과 실습부분이 분리되지 않아 실습에 대한 반복 학습을 하는데 불편한 단점을 가지고 있었다. 따라서 본 코스웨어를 설계 및 구현하는 데 있어 학습에 지장을 초래하는 기술적 요소를 배제하여, 컴퓨터 통신의 속도와 다양한 사용자들의 다양한 컴퓨터 사양에서도 원활하게 동작하는 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 설계 구현하여 웹상에서도 실습하는 것과 같은 교육 효과를 얻을 수 있게 하는데 중점을 두었다.
향후, 학교를 비롯한 기업, 공공기관 등에서 다양한 교육에 활용될 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 보다 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서는 멀티미디어의 특성과 장점을 최대한 살려 교육적 효과를 얻어내고 낼 수 있는 교수 설계 방안을 마련해야 할 것이며, 이를 발전된 기술과 효율적으로 접목하여 실제 교육에 적용한다면 새로운 21세기형 교육 패러다임이 생성될 수 있을 것이라고 기대해 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

While we are somewhat sure about the quality of the information of the text books, reference books, encyclopedias, etc., we are not so about the web based study materials. That is, whereas the teachers or students using webs can deal with diversified materials, they come to deal with the quality of the materials distributed widely. Therefore, they came to require the standard of evaluation where the qualities of such WBI sites can be evaluated.
At present, although the study about the educational web sites are proceeding actively, most of them are the evaluations about the business web sites, and although the evaluation about the educational web sites are proceeding, it can be said that its result is still insufficient.
In this study, we presented the items of evaluation by areas of web sites based on the items of the evaluation of the web sites studied at the various fields until now, and used the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) in deciding the weight by areas of the evaluation in order to calculate the weight of the evaluation models of the educational web sites so that the said items may become the proper evaluation models for the educational web sites.
Whether or not of having used the objective of the educational web sites successfully can be judged by synthetically evaluating the basic environment, environmental factors including the information technological infrastructure, and core process. Accordingly, in this study, we classified the educational evaluations of the web sites into core process evaluation, information technological infrastructure evaluation and basic environmental evaluation, and drew the detailed evaluation areas and evaluation items of each area again. As a result of having measured the weight by subdividing the core process into 3 phases, and subdividing information technological infrastructure and basic environment into 2 phases for the evaluation areas, it turned out that there existed the degree of impotance in the order of core process, information technological infrastructure and basic infrastructure.
In the detailed areas of the core process, the result turned out as the very important one as if they reflected the characteristics of the education, and although in the detailed areas of the information technological infrastructure, the weight of the software showed the slight superiority compared to two other areas(hardware, network), the difference was not large, and among the rest of the areas, the similar degree of importance showed.
In the detailed areas of the basic environment, it turned out that the weight is high in the order of policy, organization, and manpower.
The educational evaluation models developed in this study will have the following expectation effects:
First, the learners or instructors will achieve the qualitative enhancement of the instruction-study and goals of the study result, and the goals of enhancement of the productivity of the businesses or organizations and of the maximization of the profit.
Second, they may be used as the tool for the analysis of the strong and weak points of the web sites of the susidiaries through the comparison evaluation with the web sites of the higher echelon businesses of the same trade.
Third, in case where we build newly or renew the web sites for the operation of the web sites as well as of the educational, we may build those of the higher degree of perfection by understanding the elements and success factors required for the web sites.
