For the purpose of synthesizing new antibacterial agents, the author designated the 5-nitropyromucic aldehyde possessig antimicrobial activity as an antibacterial body, and also designated that sulfanilamide derivatives possessing antibacterial activity are in the Auxo-antibacterial group. in order to synthesize New antibacterial agents, new five 5-nitropyromucic sulfanilamide derivatives are synthesized which are obtained by the action of the 5-nitropyromucic aldehyde as an antibacterial body on sulfonamide derivatives as an Auxo-antibacterial group, such as N'-acetylsulfanilamide, P-aminobenzen sulfonamide, N'-guanylsulfanilamide, N'-(4-methyl-2-thiazol) sulfanilamide, N'-(4-methyl-2- pyrimidinyl) sulfanilamide.
