The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between parental rearing attitude and youth's moral judgement.
The subjects were 120 students (59 students of 1st grade in middle schools, 61 students of 1st grade in high schools) in Daegu.
1. The sex of the youth will make a difference of the perceived by middle, high school student.
2. The age of the youth will make a difference of the parent's rearing attitudes perceived by middle, high school student.
3. The moral judgement relationship between the parent's rearing attitudes perceived by middle, high school student.
The object of this study was 120 students (59 students of 14 years old, 61 students of 17 years old) and their parents in Daegu city.
To measure the above variables the Korean Defining Issues Test (KDIT) was used.
There were twelve episodes which have specific demand and purpose of people in need and it become a youths demand.
The results of the study were as follows ;
1. Moral judgement score were not appeared to be different according to parental rearing attitudes.
2. There was a difference in moral judgement score between grades the moral judgement score of middles school students was much higher than that high school students.
3. The positive behavior property and the negative behavior property were divided.
4. To compare moral levels in terms of negative behavior property lever factors such as aggressive behavior poor learning progress, shyness were bound to negative behavior property and were verified.
A significant interaction between moral level and negative behavior property was shown.
Finally the subject in this study does not represent the middle school students and high school student grade youth's of korea because subjects were sampled from the restrict region such as only Daegu middle, high school students.
This study our country's parent's-rearing attitude perceived youth's showed that they were more affectionate to sex of youth's made no difference.
As well, girls moral judgement were more higher than that of boys thus, in order to further the moralities of youth' it can be said that the development of moral educational programs considering the age and their growth level of youth's is request.
This study can be thought as useful as an middle, high school students to examine the relationship between moral judgement to parents rearing attitudes perceived by middle, high school students.
