초기 청소년의 삶의 만족도 변화양상과 성별 및 애착 관계의 영향 = Developmental Trajectory of Life Satisfaction and the Effects of Gender and Attachment Relationships on Life Satisfaction in Early Adolescents

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the developmental trajectory of life satisfaction as well as the effects of gender and attachment relationships(parent attachment, peer attachment, teacher attachment, & neighbor attachment) on changes of life satisfaction through latent growth curve modeling procedures. The participants were early adolescents, taken from a sample of 4th-7th grades from the Korean Youth Panel Survey. The results were as follows. First, early adolescents’ life satisfaction decreased between the 4th and 7th grades. Second, gender differences were found related to the intercept and the slope of life satisfaction: the results for boys showed that the initial of life satisfaction was higher than that of girls and slower reduction rate of life satisfaction observed among girls. Third, both the intercept and slope of life satisfaction were predicted by parent attachment, peer attachment, teacher attachment, and neighbor attachment. This study discussed the implications of counseling and education and suggested the limitations of the study and a further part of necessary studies.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 잠재성장모형을 적용하여 초기 청소년의 삶의 만족도의 종단적인 변화양상을 살펴보고, 그 변화에 있어서 성별 및 애착 관계(부모애착, 또래애착, 교사애착, 이웃애착)의 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 자료분석을 위해 한국청소년패널의 초4-중1까지의 종단자료를 활용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 4학년부터 중학교 1학년까지 평균적으로 삶의 만족도는 유의미하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 변화에 있어서 개인 간 차이는 유의미하게 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 삶의 만족도의 초기치와 변화율에 있어서 성별에 따른 차이가 나타났다. 남학생이 여학생에 비해 삶의 만족도 초기 수준이 높았으며, 여학생은 남학생보다 삶의 만족도 변화에서 더 더딘 감소율을 보였다. 셋째, 부모애착, 또래애착, 교사애착, 이웃애착은 모두 삶의 만족도의 초기치와 변화율에 유의한 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 상담 및 교육에서의 시사점을 논하고 추후 연구를 위한 제언과 제한점을 논의하였다.
