미숙아 출생 영유아의 사회적 의사소통 행동 특성 = Characteristics of Social Communication Behavior in Premature Toddlers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to examine social communication behavior characteristics ofpremature toddlers. The participants were twenty premature and twentyfull-term toddlers. The month of chronological age of toddlers ranged from15 to 33 months and divided into two age groups, age 1 and age 2, in eachgroups. Social communicative abilities were assessed using CSBS DP. Theresults were as follows: (1) The premature group showed significantly lowertotal score of CSBS DP than the full-term group and significantly lower totalscore in age 2 than age 1. However, there was no significant group and ageinteraction effect. (2) The premature group revealed significantly lower score inthree composite(social, speech, symbolic) of CSBS DP than the full-term group.
Scores of speech and symbolic composites in age 2 were significantly lower thanage 1 however score of social composites was not significantly different at twoage groups. And also, there was no significant group and age interaction effectin three composites. (3) The premature group showed significantly lower scoresin communication, gesture, speech, words, comprehension, and using objectsamong 7 clusters of CSBS DP than the full-term group. In speech andcomprehension cluster, the discrepancies of two group were reduced at age 2than age 1. We discussed social communication characteristics of prematuretoddlers based on there result.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 미숙아 출생 영유아의 사회적 의사소통 행동 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 20명의 미숙아 출생 영유아와 20명의 만삭아 출생 영유아로, 생활연령은15~33개월 사이였으며, 각각의 집단은 1세와 2세 집단으로 나누었다. 사회적 의사소통행동은 CSBS DP로 측정하였다. 그 결과 (1) 미숙아 출생 영유아는 만삭아 출생 영유아에 비해, 1세 집단이 2세 집단에 비해 유의하게 낮은 CSBS DP의 전체 점수를 보였다.
그러나 집단×연령의 상호작용 효과는 없었다. (2) 미숙아 출생 영유아는 만삭아 출생 영유아에 비해 CSBS DP의 세 가지 영역(사회적, 발화적, 상징적)에서 유의하게 낮은 수행능력을 보였다. 1세 집단은 2세 집단에 비해 발화적, 상징적 영역에서 유의하게 낮은 수행능력을 보였으나 사회적 영역에서는 연령의 차이를 보이지 않았다. 세 영역 모두 집단×연령의 상호작용 효과는 관찰되지 않았다. (3) 미숙아 출생 영유아는 CSBS DP의 7가지 세부요인 중 의사소통, 제스처, 말소리, 단어, 이해, 사물사용에서 만삭아 출생 영유아에 비해 유의하게 낮은 수행능력을 보였다. 말소리와 사물사용에서 보인 차이는 연령 증가에 따라 감소되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 미숙아 출생 영유아의 초기 사회적 의사소통 능력에 대하여 논의하였다.
