청소년의 사회참여활동 유형이 공동체의식에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Latent Classes in Adolescents' Social Activity Participation on their Sense of Community

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the latent classes of adolescents’ social activity participation and examine the trajectory effects of each individual latent class classified in adolescents’ social activity participation on sense of community. The data set of 2013’s Korean Children and Youth Panel Data(KCYPD 2013) was used. Latent class analysis(LCA) and multiple regression analysis were utilized for data analysis. The results of the study were as follows: First, three distinct classes for the adolescents’ social activity participation were identified. They were named here as follows; ‘volunteering class(VC),’ ‘multiple participation activities class(MPAC),’ ‘low-level participation activity class(LPAC).’ Second, it showed that these different latent classes in the adolescents’ social activity had distinctly different effects on adolescents’ sense of community. For example, adolescents in both VC and MPAC were more likely to have high-level of sense of community than those in LPAC. Finally, the practical implications for improving the adolescents’ social participation and their sense of community were discussed based on the results of the study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 청소년 사회참여활동의 잠재유형을 파악하고, 잠재계층분석을 통해 나타난 하위집단별 유형이 공동체 의식에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 한국아동․청소년패널조사(2012) 자료를 이용하여 잠재계층분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 먼저, 청소년 사회참여 잠재유형에 따라 구분되는 잠재계층을 추출한 결과 3개의 잠재유형이 도출되었으며, 각 유형이 갖는 특성에 따라 각각 자원봉사활동형, 다(多)참여형, 참여저조형으로 명명하였다. 그 다음으로 다중회귀분석을 통해 청소년 사회참여활동 잠재유형과 청소년의 공동체 의식과의 관련성을 분석한 결과, 참여저조형에 비해 다(多)참여형과 봉사활동형이 공동체의식에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 청소년 사회참여활동 활성화 및 공동체의식을 함양하기 위한 개입방안을 제시하였다.
