대학생의 노인부양의식에 영향을 미치는 결정요인 = Defining Factors Affecting the University Students' Consciousness of Supporting Senior Citizens

Radical changes of our society in recent years has caused grave matters of weakening the university students' consciousness of supporting senior citizens. This study has examined factors of individuals, family and the family relationship, which have an influence on the university students' consciousness of supporting senior citizens, and figured out the most defining factors to enlighten them on the significance of the education and practical intervention in the consciousness of supporting senior citizens. The survey targeting 535 university students in Jeollanam-do was used for performing the study. The results pointed out birth order, the economic level and the old's consciousness of being supported, as individual factors, and family education, the relationship between parents and grand-parents and the relationship with parents, as family factors, and they are all meaningful in the whole factors of the family relationship. The defining factors affecting the university students' consciousness of supporting senior citizens were verified as the economic level, the relationship with grand-parents and the whole relationship of the family(emotional closeness, responsibility of recognition, respect of acceptance). The meaning of the study has been scrutinized on the basis of results mentioned above.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 우리사회의 급격한 사회환경의 변화는 대학생들의 노인부양의식의 약화를 초래할 수 있기 때문에 문제의 심각성이 크다. 이에 본 연구는 대학생의 노인부양의식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 개인요인, 가족요인, 가족관계요인 등으로 구분하여 이러한 요인들이 대학생의 노인부양의식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하여, 결과를 토대로 대학생들의 노인부양의식에 대한 교육과 실천적 개입의 필요성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전라남도지역 4년제 대학생 535명을 대상으로 설문조사한 자료를 사용하였다. 분석결과, 대학생의 노인부양의 식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 개인요인인 출생순위, 경제수준, 노후 피부양관과 가족요인인 가정교육, 부모와 조부모사이, 본인과 조부모사이, 그리고 가족관계 전체요인에서 유의미하였으며, 대학생의 노인부양의식에 영향을 미치는 중요 요인은 경제수준, 본인과 조부모사이, 가족관계 전체(정서친밀, 인정책임, 수용존중)요인인 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 중심으로 연구의 의의를 살펴보았다.
