다문화 군대대비 국방정책 발전 방안(2) -다양성 관리(Diversity Management)차원에서-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Interest in multiculturalism has been an issue in multinational corporations since the ‘90s for efficient management of diverse transferor. The German and Swiss armies in Europe have also prepared for multicultural armies in terms of diversity management. The Korean military’s policy for a multicultural army is in line with the multicultural policy of Korean society, which is different from that of the German and Swiss armies in Europe in terms of diversity management. In other words, it is necessary to establish a concept to prepare for the multicultural era by limiting the target to Korean labor migrants and marriage migrants. In this paper, taking into account the characteristics of Korean society and the Korean Army, the concept of multiculturalism currently managed by the military is expanded and the dedicated organization is organized to propose policies for multicultural army in terms of diversity management. Diversity management is a concept that encompasses gender, growth environment, and birth area, including race and religion, and is necessary to prepare for future changes in Korean Military environment.
