The purpose of this study was to examine effects of communication of member in sports organization on job satisfactions. It was defined as independent variable to have communication content and communication style while, job satisfaction as dependent variable.
The sample was drawn from 304 member worked at several sports organization: The Korea Sports Council, Seoul Sport Association, Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation, and The National Council of Sport for All.
A questionnaire was designed to measure effects of communication of member in sports organization on job satisfaction. The questionnaire consist of open-ended questions. The reliability of the questionnaire was ranging from α=..7187∼.9023. The data were analysed through t-test, correlation analysis, regression analysis through SPSS\PC window version 9.0 program.
The results of this study were as follows:
1) Communication showed difference according to job career, job ranking, marriage status and athlete experience.
2) Job satisfaction showed difference according to job ranking and marriage status.
3) Communication content of member in sports organization effected on job satisfaction.
4) Upward communication, downward communication and horizontal communication of member in sports organization effected on job satisfaction.
