어머니의 아동기경험 및 부모역할만족도가 양육태도에 미치는 영향 = Parenting attitude: The effects of a mother's childhood experience and parental role satisfaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to grasp the relationship between a mother's childhood experience and her attitude about and satisfaction with being a parent. The study also seeks out the relative effectiveness of these factors on parenting attitude. Subjects consisted of 221 mothers with children attending nurseries and kindergartens in the northern Gyeonggi area. The scales used herein were obtained through Mother-Father-Peer Scale(MFPS), parental role satisfaction and parenting attitude. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as followings: First, a significant relationship was found between mother's childhood experience and maternal parenting attitude.
Second, the variables with the greatest effectiveness on affective parenting attitude were, in order, general satisfaction, parent-children relationships, supporting children, and level of acceptance against refusal. The variables with the greatest effectiveness on rejective parenting attitude were shown to be no parent-role conflicts, followed by parent-children relationships. The variables with the greatest effectiveness on autonomous parenting attitude were, in order, parent-children relationships, level of encouraging independence against over-protectiveness, level of acceptance against refusal, and supporting children. The variables with the greatest effectiveness on statistical parenting attitude were, in order, supporting children, no parent-role conflicts, and parent-children relationships.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니의 아동기경험 및 부모역할만족도와 양육태도간의 관계를 파악하고 이러한 요인들이 양육태도에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 어떤지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기북부에 소재해 있는 어린이집, 유치원에 다니고 있는 자녀를 둔 어머니 221명이었다. 연구도구는 부모-또래-척도, 부모역할만족도, 양육태도검사를 사용하였으며, 상관관계분석과 중다회귀분석을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 어머니의 양육경험과 자녀의 양육태도는 의미있는 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 아동기경험 및 부모역할만족도가 양육태도에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과 애정적 양육태도에 미치는 상대적 설명력이 가장 큰 변인은 일반적 만족감이었으며, 부모자녀관계, 자녀의 지지, 수용 대 거부차원 순서로 나타났다. 거부적 양육태도에 부적으로 영향을 미치는 상대적 설명력이 가장 큰 변인은 부모역할갈등 없음이었으며, 그 다음으로 부모자녀관계인 것으로 나타났다. 자율적 양육태도에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 가장 큰 변인은 부모자녀관계였으며, 독립성조장 대 과잉보호 차원, 수용 대 거부차원, 자녀의 지지 순서로 나타났다. 통제적 양육태도에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 가장 큰 변인은 자녀의 지지였으며, 부모역할갈등 없음, 부모자녀관계의 순서로 나타났다.
