Ⅰ. Vegetation structure of Mt. Geumsan, Namhae
In order to research the vegetation structure of Geumsan, Namhae, 75 square districts (400㎡) were divided into 3 sections in direction, ridges, and forest physiognomy, and vegetation was investigated.
As a result of classifying the plant communities, the 1 section was found in the 21 survey districts: Quercus serrata - Eurya japonica- Cornus kousa community, Quercus serrata - Styrax japonicus - Cornus kousa community, Pinus thunbergii - Prunus sargentii - Quercus serrata community in 3 clusters. the 2 Section has 2 clusters in 27 survey districts, including Quercus serrata – Pinus thunbergii – Pinus densiflora community, and Quercus serrata - Styrax japonicus - Pinus thunbergii community and 3 Section has 2 cluster in 27 survey districts, including Quercus serrata – Carpinus turczaninovii - Pinus thunbergii community, and Quercus mongolica - Styrax japonicus- Acer pseudosieboldianum community. In most surveys, Quercus serrata and Pinus thunbergii were dominant, while hillside was dominated by Cornus kousa and Styrax japonicus.

A strong negative correlation was established between Pinus thunbergii and Quercus serrata; Ligustrum japonicum and Quercus serrata; Prunus sargentii and Carpinus laxiflora and Quercus serrata.
The species diversity index for each cluster was relatively low in 0.6827 to 0.7748 in Section 1
