    The fast development in the IT industry has effected the creation of online educational environment in South Korea and there has been active attempts improve the environment using the feedback from online evaluation systems. However, these attempts does not appear to be constructive as there has not been any theory developed yet for establishing dependable evaluation approaches. Hence, much research needs to be done to establish a working theory for better online class evaluation.
    The aim of this thesis is to propose a method to improve the existing online evaluation systems. The proposal is compiled through the analysis of one existing online class system (cyber system) used by college C in comparison with one online class center (cyber center) in the local area. There is a limitation to this proposal since it wouldn't be possible to extend the applicability to other online class systems and centers (cyber systems and centers). The analysis has considered student attitudes to online classes, the level of student participation in online evaluation, the differences in online and offline classes and the problems of both types of classes.
    The analysis has found that the menus have to be user-friendly to both teachers and students and the guidelines for the users of an online class system has to be appropriate and directed to users' needs. However, user-friendly menus don't determine the quality of an online class system. For an online class system to be effectively managed, it has to have an optimal number of functions; it is not necessary to have more than this. College C's online class system structure is self-sufficient in comparison to other system structures. However, there is still room for improvement: accommodation of latest menu structure and functions and active participation of students and teachers in evaluation of online class systems.
