노인과의 긍정적 교류경험이 청소년의 노인에 대한 지식과 태도에 미치는 영향: ‘세대통합적 노인유사체험교육 프로그램’의 효과성을 중심으로 = The Effect of Positive Experience of Adolescents with Elderly on the Knowledge and the Attitude towards the Elderly: based on ‘the generation-integrated aging simulation program’

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not the positive interaction between adolescents and the elderly affect on their attitudes and knowledge towards the elderly. To fulfill this purpose, the researcher developed a new program, ‘Generation-integrated aging experience simulation program’, stimulating mutual relationship between the third (program participants) and the first generation (educators). Three groups--control group, group with the basic program, and the group with the new program--were compared to see if there were statistically significant differences among the groups in their attitudes toward the elderly and the satisfaction to the program. As a result, adolescents' attitude of the two experimental groups had changed positively compared to that of the control group. However, the adolescents participating to the new program showed the most positive attitude toward the elderly as well as the greater change width than the other. The adolescents with the new program also showed higher satisfaction to the program, specifically describing their inter-generational experiences with the elderly as impressive and joyous. Therefore, to the adolescents, it was found to be effective for enhancing mutual understanding and positive attitude between the generations to experience some kind of positive relationship and contact with the elderly, especially the respectable ones. Some educational programs composed of diverse and effective inter-generational activities were to be developed in order to make generation-integrated society in coming ‘aged society’.
