유아기 자녀를 양육하는 어머니의 자아존중감, 정서표현성, 양육스트레스가 양육행동에 미치는 영향

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study were to explore the relationships of parenting behavior of preschooler s mother with mother s self-esteem, maternal emotional expressiveness, and maternal parenting stress and to investigate the effects of mother s self-esteem, maternal emotional expressiveness, and maternal parenting stress on maternal parenting behavior. The participants were 114 mothers of preschoolers from four day care center and one kindergarten in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province. Mothers completed rating scales to measure their parenting behavior, self-esteem, emotional expressiveness, and parenting stress. The data were analyzed using reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, correlations, and multiple regressions. The results were as follows: (1) Statistically
significant relationships were found between maternal parenting behavior and mother s self-esteem, maternal emotional expressiveness, and maternal parenting stress. (2) The results of regression analyses revealed that maternal expressiveness, mother s self-esteem explained maternal parenting behavior of warmth. Maternal negative
expressiveness, maternal parenting stress, mother s low self-esteem explained maternal parenting behavior of rejection. Maternal parenting stress explained maternal parenting behavior of overprotection. Maternal expressiveness explained maternal parenting behavior of consistency.
