청소년의 성에 따른 완벽주의 및 부모·또래애착이 우울에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 성에 따라 완벽주의 및 부모·또래애착이 우울에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었으며 연구대상은 경기 지역 4개 중학교에 재학 중인 2, 3학년 학생 420명(남학생 192명, 여학생 228명) 이었다. 변인의 일반적 경향의 성에 따른 차이를 알아보기 위해 t 검증을 실시하였으며 변인 간 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출하였고 변인들의 상대적 영향력을 알아보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 첫째, 완벽주의와 부모·또래애착, 우울에 있어 성차를 살펴본 결과, 여학생의 자기지향 완벽주의와 또래애착의 평균 점수가 남학생보다 유의미하게 높았다. 둘째, 완벽주의 및 부모·또래애착과 우울 간 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 남녀학생 모두 자기지향 완벽주의, 타인지향 완벽주의, 부모·또래애착이 높을수록 우울이 낮았고 사회지향 완벽주의가 높을수록 우울이 높았다. 셋째, 남학생의 완벽주의 및 부모·또래애착이 우울에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 사회지향 완벽주의, 자기지향 완벽주의, 부모애착, 또래애착 순으로 우울에 영향을 미쳤으며 우울의 32.5%를 설명하였다. 넷째, 여학생의 완벽주의 및 부모·또래애착이 우울에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 또래애착, 부모애착, 사회지향 완벽주의, 타인지향 완벽주의 순으로 우울에 영향을 미쳤으며 우울의 43%를 설명하였다. 결론적으로, 남학생의 경우 자기지향 완벽주의, 부모애착, 또래애착이 높고 사회지향 완벽주의가 낮을수록 우울이 감소했으며, 여학생의 경우 또래애착, 부모애착, 타인지향 완벽주의가 높고 사회지향 완벽주의가 낮을수록 우울이 감소했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study sought to investigate the effects of adolescents’ perfectionism, parent and peer attachment on depression according to gender.
The results were as follows: First, male adolescents’ depression was affected (in the following order) by socially-prescribed perfectionism, self-oriented perfectionism, parent attachment and peer attachment. These variables helped account for 32.5% of male adolescents’ depression. Second, female adolescents’ depression was affected (in the following order) by peer attachment, parent attachment, socially-prescribed perfectionism and other-oriented perfectionism. These variables helped account for 43% of female adolescents depression.
In conclusion, in the case of male adolescents, the higher the levels of self-oriented perfectionism, parent and peer attachment were, the lower the levels of depression and the higher the levels of socially-prescribed perfectionism were, the higher the levels of depression. In the case of female adolescents, the higher the degree of peer and parent attachment, and other-oriented perfectionism were, the lower the level of depression and the higher the level of socially-prescribed perfectionism, the higher the levels of depression.
