사회부과적 완벽주의와 취업스트레스의 관계: 진로결정수준의 매개효과 : 진로결정수준의 매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 사회부과적 완벽주의와 취업스트레스의 관계에서 진로결정수준의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 대구·경북에 위치한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 3, 4학년 262명(남성 85명, 여성 177명)을 대상으로 사회부과적 완벽주의, 취업스트레스, 진로결정수준에 관한 설문조사를 진행하였으며 수집한 자료의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 사회부과적 완벽주의가 높을수록 진로결정수준이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로결정수준이 낮을수록 취업스트레스가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회부과적 완벽주의가 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향에서 진로결정수준의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 사회부과적 완벽주의는 취업스트레스에 직접적인 설명력을 갖는 동시에 진로결정수준을 매개로 한 간접적인 영향 또한 유의한 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구를 통해 사회부과적 완벽주의와 취업스트레스의 관계와 진로결정수준의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 진로결정수준이 사회부과적 완벽주의자의 취업스트레스를 낮출 수 있는 유의한 변인이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점은 논의에서 다루었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine mediating effect of career decision level in the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking stress. Subjects were 262 (male 85, female 177) university students (third or fourth grade) located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk province of South Korea. The Subjects were asked to complete the questionnaires composed with Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS), Job-Seeking Scale (JSS), Career Decision Scale (CDS).
The main results are as follows. First, students who have higher socially prescribed perfectionism reported higher job-seeking stress. Second, students who have higher socially prescribed perfectionism reported lower career decision level. Third, students who have lower career decision level reported higher job-seeking stress. Correlational analysis indicated that career decision scale, socially prescribed perfectionism, and job-seeking stress were all significantly related. Forth, as a results of structural equation modeling, career decision level mediated relations between socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking stress. Finally, the implications for further research and limitations of this study were discussed.
