Korean endemic fresh water fish, Rhodeus uyekii were reviewed ecologically and developmentally in spawning season from May to July, 1989.
In the result, there were no variation geografically in egg development and larvae. In sex ratio, male is 2.4 times more than female exept Yong San River population. Based on the ecological result, it is suggested the at peak spawning season of the fish is mid-May in Kosan, Chonbuk.
