전남․경남 접경 지역의 용언 어간 말 자음군 단순화 현상 = A study on the consonant cluster simplification of dialects in the border between Jeonnam and Gyeongnam

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the simplification of consonant clusters and dialect changes in the border between Jeonnam and Gyeongnam. For this purpose, we quantitatively investigated the simplification of consonant clusters of 'ㄺ' and 'ㄼ' in Gurye, Gwangyang, and Hadong. In the simplification of the 'ㄺ' consonant cluster, the 'ㄱ' and 'ㄹ' choices coexisted, but the 'ㄹ' choice tended to be a little more dominant, and there were some differences depending on the individual region. This phenomenon was interpreted as a result of being influenced by both Jeonnam and Gyeongnam dialects at the same time due to their dialect geographical characteristics. In addition, the simplification of the consonant cluster of "ㄺ" has also changed depending on the phonological conditions of the conjunctive ending. The simplification of the consonant cluster of 'ㄼ' was similar to that of 'ㄺ'. However, due to the difference in phonological mechanisms, there was a difference in the simplification of consonant groups according to the conjunctive ending.
