부모의 과잉간섭과 대학생의 삶에 대한 태도 간의 관계: 사회불안의 매개효과를 중심으로 = Relationships between Parental Intrusiveness and Attitudes toward Life among College Students: Focused on Mediating Effect of Social Anxiety

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 부모의 과잉간섭과 대학생의 사회불안이나 삶의 대한 태도 간의 관계를 분석하고, 부모의 과잉간섭과 삶의 대한 태도 간의 관계에서 사회불안의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 남녀 대학생 281명이었으며, 연령 분포는 만 18세에서 27세 사이였다. 본 연구에서는 부모의 과잉간섭, 사회불안, 삶의 만족, 삶의 동기 및 기대를 측정하였다. 상관분석 결과, 부모의 과잉간섭은 사회불안과는 정적 상관이, 삶에 대한 태도와는 부적 상관이 있었다. 반면에 부모의 자율성 존중은 사회불안과는 부적 상관이, 삶에 대한 태도와는 정적 상관이 있었다. 사회불안은 삶에 대한 태도와 부적 상관이 있었는데, 삶의 기대와는 약 13.7%의 변량을 공유하고 있었다. 사회불안은 부모의 과잉간섭과 삶의 동기와의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하고, 부모의 과잉간섭과 삶의 만족 및 삶의 기대와의 관계는 완전하게 매개하고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 선행연구와 부모의 과잉간섭에 대한 Adler의 개인심리학의 이론을 바탕으로 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to analyze the relations of parental intrusiveness to social anxiety and attitudes toward life, and examined the mediating effect of social anxiety on parental intrusiveness and attitudes toward life. The participants were 281 male and female college students, whose ages ranged from 18 to 27. Parental Intrusiveness, social anxiety, life satisfaction, motivation for life, and life satisfaction expectancy were measured for this study. The correlational analysis results indicated that parental intrusiveness was positively correlated with social anxiety and negatively with attitudes toward life, while parent's autonomy respect was negatively correlated with social anxiety and positively with attitudes toward life. Social anxiety was negatively correlated with attitudes toward life, it was shared the 13.7% of variance of life satisfaction expectancy. It was found that social anxiety was partially mediating parental intrusiveness and motivation for life, and fully mediating on the relations of parental intrusiveness to life satisfaction as well as life satisfaction expectancy. Results of this study were interpreted with previous studies and the Adler’s theory of individual psychology on roles of parental intrusiveness.
