유아가 경험하는 세대통합 프로그램의 의미에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 유아들과 노인들이 서로의 경험을 나누고 함께하는 과정 속에서 유아들이 만들어 가는 세대통합 프로그램의 의미와 경험의 특성을 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울의 한 복지관에서 1ㆍ3세대 통합 프로그램에 참여한 10명의 유아들에 대한 관찰 및 심층면담 내용을 현상학적 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 유아들의 면접사례에서는 24개의 구성된 의미가 발견되었고, 이들 간의 순서와 관계를 분석하여 최종적으로 9개의 소범주와 다시 3개의 대범주가 발견되었다. 3개의 대범주는 ‘자존감 증대를 위한 기회’, ‘1세대와 전통문화의 이해 증대’, ‘아다지오와 포프테의 하모니 만들기’ 등이었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 1ㆍ3세대 통합프로그램 경험에 대한 의미를 논의하고 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study aims to fully understand the meaning and characteristics of their experience of preschoolers who participated in intergenerational program with senior adults. For this, the researcher enacted phenomenological research method. The data collected for 4 months from 2010 september to november 2010. Fourteen preschoolers participated in the focus group interview and the semi structured in-depth interview. The data analysis was based on Giorgi"s 4 types of specific steps.
From this study, We found that three components and nine subcomponents were drawn from the analysis. The components resulted from the analysis are : first, preschoolers obtained the opportunity that they can increase self-esteem and enhanced self-efficacy. Second, preschoolers increased the understanding for the first generation from continuous contact and interchange. Third, the purposeful and creative activities with preschoolers and senior adults have been the initiative of making the harmony between adagio and forte.
Finally, We have concluded that the effort to form the intergenerational linkages helps preschoolers increase the understanding and cooperation across age groups and contributes to the understanding filled with love between generations.
