국문 초록 (Abstract)

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)은 고전주의 시대를 대표하는 작곡가이다. 그는 총 32곡의 piano sonata를 전 생애에 걸쳐 작곡하였다. 그의 piano sonata는 크게 세 시기로 분류되고, 각 시기 마다 특징이 뚜렷하게 나타난다. 그 중에서 Piano Sonata No. 26, Op. 81a는 1809년에 작곡하기 시작하여 1810년에 완성 된 중기 작품이다. 이 곡은 후원자인 루돌프 대공에게 헌정되었으며, 3악장 구성으로 베토벤이 각 악장에 직접 <고별>, <부재>, <재회>라는 표제를 붙였다.
Robert Schumann (1801-1856)은 낭만주의를 대표하는 작곡가이다. 19세기 건반음악 작곡가들은 주관적인 내면의 세계를 표현하였고, 개인의 감정을 나타내는 character piece를 주로 작곡하였다. Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op. 26는 Schumann의 대표적인 character piece중 하나이다. 이 곡은 1839년 Wien에서 경험한 사육제의 분위기를 나타낸 곡으로 1840년에 완성되었다. 이 곡은 Allegro - Romanze - Scherzino - Intermrzzo - Finale로 구성되었다. 각 악장은 빈 사육제의 경쾌하고 생동감 넘치는 모습과 서정적인 분위기를 나타내며, Schumann의 내면적 세계를 잘 표현하였다.

Ludwig van Beethoven(1770-1827) is one of utmost composers during the Classicism period. His Piano Sonata No. 26, Op. 81a from the middle period was dedicated to Archduke Rudolph, who was his patron. The piece consists of three movements, to which he added <Das Lebewohl>, <Abwesenheit> and <Das Wiedersehen> titles, respectively. He completed his own original techniques based on the traditional classical forms, thus making huge contributions to romantic music.
Robert Schumann(1801-1856) is one of great composers during the Romanticism period. His character pieces have different individualistic features from those of other composers. His Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op. 26 is one of representative character pieces of program music. Schumann reflected
the atmosphere of the carnival he experienced in Wien in 1839 onto the piece hat was completed in 1840. The suite consists of total five pieces that are in Allegro-Romanze-Scherzino-Intermrzzo-Finale. In the piece, he expressed his inner world based on the invigorating and cheerful aspects and lyrical atmosphere of the Wien carnival.
