The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aerobic dance instructor's image on participation satisfaction and continuous intention. Also, it examined which variables of participation satisfaction made aerobic dance members to participate more in exercise as an instructor's role and duty for members. To achieve the purpose of this study, 427 aerobic dance members participated to complete questionnaires. As research instruments, IDQ for leader's image, LSS for participation satisfaction, and intention of participation continuance questionnaire were used. For analyzing, descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis were used. The conclusions were as follows:
1. Difference of participation satisfaction and intention of participation continuance in according to demographical feature.
There were differences of participation satisfaction and continuous intention according to demographical feature, year, marriage, participation period, frequency to participate, and participation purpose.
At first, young group was satisfied in environment and educational satisfaction more than old group.
Secondly, marriage group had higher scores than single group in social satisfaction, otherwise single group had higher score than marriage group in educational satisfaction.
Third, longer participation group was satisfied in social satisfaction than short participation group.
Fourth, more participation frequency group had higher score in emotional, educational satisfaction and continuance intention.
Fifth, groups who participated in exercise for leisure, interest, and stress reduction, were more satisfied in social, emotional, and educational satisfaction than the groups participating for health development and weight management factors.
2) The effect of Instructor image on participation satisfaction and Continuance Intention.
First, ability and professionalism factors as an instructor's image influenced social, emotional, and educational satisfaction.
Second, attitude factor of instructor's image influenced environment satisfaction.
Third, ability and professionalism factors of instructor's image influenced participation continuance.
3) The Effect participation satisfaction according to Instructor image on continuance intention.
First, ability, professionalism, and attitude had the effect on participation satisfaction, and emotional and educational satisfactions affected participation continuance intention.
Second, Ability and professionalism had direct and indirect effects on participation continuance intention through emotional and educational satisfaction.
4) A causal relationship of Instructor image, participation satisfaction and continuance intention.
Therefore, emotional and educational satisfaction was a mediator variable between instructor's image and participation continuance intention
