신체경험중심 심리운동이 지적장애 아동의 운동성과 적응행동에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Psychomotor Activities Based on Physical Experiences on the Motor Skills and Adaptation of Intellectually Disabled Children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of psychomotor activities based on physical experiences on the motor skills and adaptation of intellectually disabled children, and analyze the effect. The subjects were 20 children with intellectual disability (8 in experiment group and 8 in control group) who wanted to participate in the study among the intellectually disabled children using the special sports center in S City. They engaged in psychomotor activities based on physical experiences for 20 weeks. For the examination tools for the findings, MABC-2 was used to measure the children’s motor skills and SDQ-Kr to evaluate their adaptation. The data were analyzed through pre-test Mann-Withney U test, Wilcoxʼs signed-ranks look in to the difference in the result of pre-post test in experimental groups. As a result, it was found that the psychomotor activities based on physical experiences generally improved hand agility, ball skills, and balancing, which were the subfactors of motor skills. In terms of adaptation, the activities had a significant impact on the subfactors of peer relations, hyperactivity, and emotional symptoms, but there was no significant impact on their behavioral issues. In conclusion, the psychomotor activities based on physical experiences affected the motor skills and adaptation of children with intellectual disabilities, but follow-up studies would necessary for application to various groups of subjects.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 신체경험중심 심리운동이 지적장애 아동의 운동성과 적응행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적을 두었다. S시 소재의 특수체육센터를 이용하는 지적장애 아동 중, 본 연구에 참여를 원하는 16명(실험집단 8명, 통제집단 8명)을 대상으로 신체경험중심 심리운동을 20주 동안 실시하였다. 평가도구로는 MABC-2를 이용하여 운동성을 측정하였고, SDQ-Kr을 활용하여 적응행동을 평가하였다. 자료분석은 실험집단과 통제집단의 차이를 검정하기 위하여 Mann-Whitney검정을 실시하였고, 사전-사후 실험집단의 차이 검정을 위하여 Wilcoxon 부호검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과 신체경험중심 심리운동이 지적장애 아동의 운동성 하위영역 중 손의 기민성, 공 기술, 평형성의 전반적 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 적응행동의 경우 하위영역인 또래관계, 과잉행동, 정서문제 개선에 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만, 품행문제 영역에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 연구결과 신체경험중심 심리운동이 지적장애 아동의 운동성과 적응행동에 긍정적 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 신체경험중심 심리운동에 대한 지속적 연구와 다양한 대상의 적용을 통한 지속적 연구가 필요하다.
