발달장애 학생의 여가활동에 대한 학부모의 인식 - 적극적 여가활동을 중심으로- = The Perspectives of leisure Activities for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study investigated how the parents thought about leisure activities of children with developmental disabilities and what the experience and the patterns of leisure time due to development disabilities. Special this study investigated the patterns of active leisure and the involvement. With this purpose, this researcher used a qualitative inquire method. the interview were participated mothers of children with developmental disabilities.
The results of the study reported that the understanding of mothers about the repertories, attitudes, handicaps toward leisure, special active leisure.
Three themes emerged from the qualitative analysis: (1)regardless of types of disabilities, the pattern of leisure were similar, (2)but the pattern of active leisure were diverse about partners, places, repertories, (3)the experience of the active leisure was affected by attitudes of mothers about active leisure. And to the conclude, parents of children with developmental disabilities need instructional training on the systematic training procedure.
In conclusion, the study suggested the ways to support the families including mothers and children with disabilities based on the results of the study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장애학생의 여가 활동을 계획하고 프로그램을 개발하는데 필요한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 초등학생 및 중학교 다니는 발달장애학생의 학부모 20명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하여 발달장애 학생의 여가활동 실태와 문제점 및 개선방향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 소극적 여가활동은 일시적 휴식이나 돌봄(시간 보내기)을 목적으로 한 여가활동을 의미하며, 적극적 여가활동은 사회적 상호작용을 위시한 지역사회 통합 및 자기계발 등을 목적으로 수행된 여가활동을 의미하는 것으로 구분하여 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 장애학생들은 여가시간을 대부분 가정에서 보내는 경우가 많았고, 여가시간을 함께 보내는 대상도 어머니와 형제인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 여가활동에 대한 걱정이 자녀의 연령이 높아질수록 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다양한 장애물로 인해 장애학생의 여가활동은 적극적 여가활동으로 발전하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 여가교육이나 자조모임, 다양한 여가활동 프로그램 필요하다고 인식하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 여가교육의 방향성과 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.
