지방대학생의 ‘학습된 무기력’ 및 ‘무기력 행동’ 관련 변인에 관한 연구 = A Study on effective variables associated with provincial university students' learned helplessness and helplessness behavior

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to determine the level of learned helplessness and helplessness behavior that provincial university students are experiencing and the factors affecting their learned helplessness. To find out the impact of these variables, we have carried out research on 378 students taking liberal arts courses. The results of multiple regression analysis revealed that school learning history, career maturity, family atmosphere, school satisfaction, and military service experience were important variables in predicting learned helplessness. The variables of career maturity, military service experience, school satisfaction, school adjustment degree and possibility of employment in another province turned out to be important factors in predicting their helplessness behavior. Based on the effective variables extracted from this study, we discussed the need for national policy and aggressive efforts by provincial universities, as well as the attention of faculty and career counseling in order to ameliorate their highly-developed level of learned helplessness and helplessness behavior.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지방대학생들이 겪고 있는 학습된 무기력과 무기력 행동의 실제는 어느 수준이며 학습된 무기력과 무기력 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 교양과목 수강생을 대상으로 총 387명에게 설문을 실시하였다. 회귀분석 결과 학습사, 진로성숙도, 가정 분위기, 학교 만족도, 군 경험이 학습된 무기력을 유의미하게 설명하는 변인으로 확인되었으며 진로성숙도, 군 경험, 학교 만족도, 학교 적응도, 타 지역 취업 가능성이 무기력 행동을 유의미하게 예측하는 변인으로 나타났다. 이 연구결과를 통해 지방대학생의 높은 수준의 학습된 무기력과 무기력 행동을 개선하기 위한 국가정책 수립 및 취업 가능성을 높이기 위한 지방대학교 공동체의 적극적 노력, 교수진의 관심과 진로지도의 필요성을 논의하였다.
