The thesis which is examining in regard to the naturalism and the Children's view of musical education of Jean Jacques Rousseau put emphasis upon examining through his writings of 「Discourse on the origin of inequality」, 「Discourse on Arts and seience」and 「Emile」 which have implied his thought.
Rousseaus's naturalism which interacted as 18 Century's ideal source was implied as saying "Return to Nature" and his educational thinking was also the education of respect natural virtue and moral nature.
This namely implies as education of which coincident with nature, and education by nature is deriving from the respectation of children's inherited mentality.
Main subject of the thesis dealt with the philosophycal views of Rousseau's concept of nature and natural state which was major thought of at that times, and compared his concept of natural state and concept of social state.
And also, compared and examined the concept of natural state of Thomas Hobbes and John Lock each other.
Second ; According to the Rousseau's Naturalism, we examined the general educational consideration and children's musical educational view that appeared at the "Emile".
Third ; We grasped the influence which affected to nowadays view of childerns's musical deucation and the philathropy and neo-humanism's details of activity that inherited from his view of children's musical education.
Consequently, the education of naturalism of Rousseau that came to the fore as a criticism toward the education of traditionalism that recognized the children as adult's reduced size edition and to resist every tradition and authority which oppresses to the children's nature said to be at last his ultimate object in order to recover humanism.
This means that human being ought to be namely nature, and nature namely ought to be humanbeing, so that, we must live according to the natural Law and this means that in the education we must adjust according to the children's growth and development process.
