茶山의 牧民心書에 나타난 敎育改革思想 硏究 = (A)study on the educational reform thought of Tasan(茶山) in the Mok-min-sim-seo(牧民心書)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다산 정약용의 「목민심서」에서 교육개혁 사상과 그것이 갖는 현대교육사적 의의를 찾아보는데 그 목적이 있다.
일반적으로 교육개혁사상이란 ‘교육 개혁에 관한 사고체계’를 지칭하지만, 여기서는 ‘교육의 이상적인 상태를 지향하는 실천 활동의 사고체계’로 정의한다.
본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 설정된 하위 연구내용은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 다산의 생애와 학문이 교육개혁에 어떤 영향을 미쳤는가를 밝힌다.
둘째, 다산의 교육개혁의 개념적 특징이 무엇인가를 밝힌다.
셋째, 다산의 교육개혁사상의 본질을 규명한다.
넷째, 다산의 교육개혁사상이 오늘의 교육에 시사하는 바가 무엇인가를 찾아본다.
본 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 논의는 다음과 같다.
하나, 다산의 생애와 학문은 부국양민을 위한 교육사상의 전개이었다. 다산은 18년간의 긴 유배생활 속에서 다양한 실학저술 활동을 전개했는데 그 중에서 『목민심서(牧民心書)』는 적어도 지방의 행정책임을 맡은 관리인 수령(守令)이 목민자(牧民慈)로서 위민사상(爲民思想)을 제기함으로써 백성을 양민화 하여 부국을 구현하려는 의도를 담고 있다. 따라서 다산의 생애와 학문적 접근은 부국양민(富國良民)을 위한 교육개혁사상의 전개와 밀접한 관련이 있다고 할 수 있다.
둘, 다산의 교육개혁의 개념은 교관이 위민의 교육실제 작용을 변화 발전시키는 것이라고 정의 할 수 있다.
셋, 다산의 교육개혁은 교관이 목민자로 만민을 양민화 하는 것으로 볼 수 있다.
넷, 다산의 교육개혁이 오늘의 교육에 시사하는 바는 영재교육에는 과예교육(課藝敎育)과 아울러 예의교육(禮義敎育)을 병행하여 장차 부국양민 하도록 한 점이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the historical significance of the educational reform thought of Tasan(茶山) in his works, the Mok-Min-Sim-Seo(牧民心書). Generally speaking, educational reform means educational reform thought system, but it means an systematic thought of practical activity for ideal state of education.
For this purpose of this theses, the sub-contents of this paper will be presented of this as follows.
First, How the relationship between educational reform thought and Tasan's life, academic activity ?
Second, What are the conceptual characteristics of Tasan`s educational reform thought ?
Third, What is the essential elements of Tasan's educational reform thought ?
Fourth, What are the implications of Tasan's educational reform thought on modern education ?
The results of this study will be presented as follows.
Firstly, Tasan`s(茶山) life and academic activity relate with the development the Ideal of educational reform for people to be rich and people to be learned.
Secondly, The concept of the educational reform will be defined as the transformed and developed practical acttivities for the service of people by the teacher.
Thirdly, Tasan's educational reform let the people to be rich and to be learned. through the service of people by the governor as a teacher.
Fourth, The practice of educating people in Mogminsimseo(牧民心書) suggest a lot now.
Fifthly, The actual implications of Tasan's educational reform, according to the canon of manner(禮典) at the Mokminsimseo(牧民心書), is to cultivate talented people for the people's mind at rest by the etiquette and justice through the service of people and the special genius education by the governor as a teacher.
