여가활동 변화에 따른 여가정책방향에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Today our society is a leisure-centered society. Popularization of leisure has brought about a revolution in the quality of human life. The more national affluence and stability are fulfilled, the more public awareness and needs are increasing. This trend is accelerating further.
The age that economic growth is the only national policy goal has passed. Now leisure is the key point of national compatibility. As Korea enters the stage of advanced country over twenty thousand dollar per capita national income, the public awareness and values on leisure are changing. New type of leisure activities with the advent of various media and the spread of computers increases the demand of public leisure activity.
The public awareness of leisure, however, is rather poor and leisure contents and spaces are too insufficient and restricted. It is necessary to propose the proper leisure policy direction in that the leisure activity variations by income disparity intensify the sociocultural conflicts and violate the public rights to enjoy their leisure activities.
Therefore, this study means to rethink the concept of leisure in modern society and to suggest a leisure policy direction according to the changing leisure activity trend.
At this present, the best way to approach the leisure problems is to carry out the concrete and systematic leisure policy. It requires to meet the popularization of leisure positively in future through expansion of leisure facilities, education for developing the public ability to enjoy leisure, training leisure experts, leisure welfare policy for the neglected, and alignment of the administrative agencies relating leisure.
