In this paper, we propose a 5.8 GHz high efficiency RF-DC converter using adaptive matching circuit. The proposed RF-DC converter can improve the efficiency by adaptively adjusting the input matching considering the change of the input RF power environment. In this paper, RF-DC converter with loss compensation and Adaptive Matching technique are combined to realize a wide input range. Post-layout simulation results including EM show that peak power conversion efficiency is 51.1%. The input range is -15 dBm to 20 dBm. BCD 180 nm was used for the process. Peak power conversion efficiency is 48.19%.
