유아 수학 및 언어학습준비도 내용과 실태에 대한 유치원교사와 초등교사의 인식 비교 = Perceptions of kindergarten and elementary school teachers about readiness for mathematics and Language Learning

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions and practices of kindergarten teachers and elementary school teachers about young children`s math and language learning readiness. One hundred fifty-three kindergarten teachers and 210 elementary school teachers completed questionnaires about content for math and language learning readiness before entering elementary school. Twenty-eight items for math learning readiness and 30 items for language learning readiness were rated on a 4-point Likert-type scale. The Cronbach alpha reliability test results range from .79 to .93 for math learning readiness and .70 to .88 for language learning readiness. The results showed that both sets of teachers had high expectations for number and numeration but low expectations for attitude and disposition toward math. Kindergarten teachers had high expectations for reading and writing but lower expectations for speaking, attitude and disposition toward language learning than did elementary school teachers.
