한국 춤의 미적가치 = The Aesthetic Characteristics of Korean Dance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to observe the aesthetic characteristics of the Korean dance. According to historical records, the Korean dance is based on heaven, earth, man and the yin-yang and Five Agent, which are the components of Korean dance. The result of this study provides a medium to distinguish the Korean dance from other forms of dance, offers the principle of choreography, and establishes the way in which Korean dance step further, which are necessary for the world to comprehend Korean dance. The results of the study are the following; First, based on the imitation theory, the beauty of joke, satire and dynamics of Korean dance. Second, based on the expression theory, the beauty of repetition and slow of Korean dance. Third, based on the formalist theory, the beauty of blank of Korean dance. Fourth, based on the tools theory, the beauty of circle and curve for using the jang-sam, long han-sam and salpuri of Korean dance.
