      The university library is the symbol and symbol of the university campus, which represents the scientific research level and cultural frontier of the university and the society, as well as the place of interdisciplinary and student exchange. Along with the management mode of university library from closed shelf management to open shelf management, and constantly forward to information, open, human nature, intelligent. At the same time, the idea of university education that emphasizes academic exchange promotes the transformation of the learning mode from the accepting and individual mode to the independent, research and cooperative mode, which makes the function, space and service orientation of the traditional university library unable to meet the learning mode of students. This article is based on the time background, starting from the behavior characteristic and the demand of readers, exploration to meet the demand of students now library learning space, make university library become a diversified learning center, to attract more readers to the library to study and research, and expectations for the future study space design of university library has a certain reference value.
      The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly explains the research background, research purpose, research scope and research method of this paper. The second chapter is a theoretical study. First of all, it explains the university library, mainly analyzes the function, function and supporting activities of the university library. Then it expounds the characteristics of users' learning behaviors, analyzes the spatial patterns of different functional areas corresponding to these behaviors, summarizes the positioning and composition of each learning space under different behavioral patterns, and draws the relationship between readers' needs and behavioral patterns and spatial patterns in university libraries. Finally, the concept of learning shared space is introduced from the characteristics of university library readers' behavior pattern, and it is explained (concept, constituent elements, characteristics), and the necessity of introducing learning shared space is proved through excellent cases at home and abroad.
      The third chapter is the research method, the main purpose is to get the design elements of university library learning shared space. According to the theoretical research, a questionnaire survey was set up, and the students in Gongzhou University were selected as the research objects, mainly to understand the use behavior of the respondents, the satisfaction degree of the existing space and the demand degree of the new space. Based on the analysis and summary of the survey results, the design elements of learning shared space in university library are obtained. The fourth chapter is the design scheme and expert evaluation, according to the results of the third chapter questionnaire survey applied to the design scheme, the design scheme of the architectural shape, interior space composition, moving line design, furniture design, indoor atmosphere 5 aspects of a comprehensive design. Summarize the design method according to the design scheme, the design method includes graphic design to consider the combination of dynamic and static space, according to the space type design of a variety of facades, the balance of three-dimensional space, material environmental protection, sustainable development and fire protection, people-oriented diversification of furniture choice. The fifth chapter is expert and user evaluation. The rationality and objectivity of the design scheme were evaluated by experts and general users to verify whether the design scheme meets the needs of users and to understand the satisfaction degree of users to the design scheme. The design model of learning shared space was obtained through expert evaluation and general user evaluation. Chapter v type design model, mainly by studying the development direction of Shared space and design method of two parts, study the development direction of Shared space including openness and regional cultural features as the leading direction of architectural appearance, functional diversity of interior space, and fluent line design, a variety of furniture design and artistic and aesthetic interior space atmosphere. Finally, the research process and research significance of this study are discussed, and the development direction and design method of learning shared space as well as the shortcomings of this paper are expounded, hoping to provide reference for future research.
