부부의 갈등해소를 위한 단기 대상관계 부부미술치료 = The Short-Term Object Relations Couple Art Therapy to Resolve the Conflicts between Couples in a Relationship Akin to Marriage

This study employed James M. Donovan's five step object relations couple therapy model to resolve the conflicts between couples living in a relationship akin to marriage and to investigate the effects of couple therapy intervention. The participants chosen for this study were couples living in a relationship akin to marriage. They received 10 sessions of art therapy. The data was analyzed qualitatively using Miles and Huberman's matrix and network. The findings are as follows: First, the five aspects found in the couples’ conflicts were ‘stress and frequent fights’, ‘wife overly pressuring the husband to be an ideal father to the children’, ‘mutual frustrations’, ‘emotional outbursts’ and criticisms’ and ‘wife ignoring and finding faults in the husband.’ Second, the factors causing the couples’ conflicts came from the solutions the participants had tried, which ware counter-productive solutions related to their parents. Third, The therapist’s responsibilities included providing the holding environment, interpretation, facing the relationship, each spouse's reflection of emotions, and playing a mediator role. The couple art therapy intervention included allowing free expression, the experience of regression, the experience of truth, the perception of the immediateness, and the sharing of pleasure. Fourth, three effect factors were established: more understanding of the spouse, functional communication improvement, and behavior change.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사실혼 관계에 있는 부부의 갈등해소를 위하여 James M. Donovan의 5단계 대상관계 부부치료모델과 부부미술치료 사례의 개입방법과 효과성을 파악하고자 한 것이다. 본 연구대상은 아동상담기관에 내방하는 내담자의 부모로 사실혼 관계에 있는 부부 1쌍이다. 연구대상 부부에게 10회기의 미술치료를 실시하였으며, 연구의 분석방법으로는 Miles와 Huberman의 매트릭스와 네트워크를 활용하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 첫째, 부부의 갈등양상은 스트레스와 잦은 다툼, 자녀에게 이상적인 아버지상을 지나치게 요구하는 아내, 부부 서로의 기대 좌절, 감정적 폭발과 비난, 남편을 무시하고 공격하는 아내의 5가지 양상으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부부갈등을 야기하는 유발요인들은 원가족에서 부모와의 부정적 대상경험과 역기능적으로 시도된 해결책으로나타났다. 셋째, 치료적 요인은 치료자의 안아주는 환경 제공, 원가족으로 부터 기인된 부부 각자의 성격패턴에대한 공감적 해석, 부부와 자녀와의 관계에 대한 직면, 부부 각자의 원가족을 대신하는 감정적 반영, 중재자 역할의 치료자 요인과 안전한 공간적 치료환경에서의 자유로운 표현 허용, 미술표현을 통한 퇴행 경험, 진실성경험, 즉시성을 인식, 기쁨 공유의 부부미술치료의 개입으로 나타났다. 넷째, 변화과정에서 살펴본 효과 요인은부부 이해 증가, 기능적 의사소통 향상, 부부 관계에서의 행동변화의 3요인으로 나타났다.
