인턴 상담원의 상담자 발달에서의 결정적 사건 경험 = Critical Incidents Experience in Counselor Intern Development

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 상담자 발달에서의 결정적 사건 경험을 통하여 상담기관에서 수련을 받고 있는 인턴 상담원의 상담자 발달에 대해서 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 연구자들은 합의적 질적 분석 방법(CQR)을 사용하여 상담 인턴 과정중이거나 수료한 15명의 상담자를 대상으로 인터뷰를 통해 상담자 발달에서의 결정적 사건 경험을 탐색하였다. 분석결과 내담자와의 만남, 정체성 발달, 상담 기술, 수련과정에 대한 동기 및 기대, 상담자 발달에 영향을 준 관계, 수련기관의 환경요인의 6개의 영역과 32개의 하위 범주가 상담자 발달에 영향을 미치는 경험으로 드러났다. 이를 통해 인턴 상담원의 발달모형을 제시하였는데, 다수의 일반적, 전형적 범주를 포함하고 있는 내담자와의 만남, 정체성 발달, 상담 기술의 세 영역이 서로 영향을 주고 받으며 상담자 발달을 증진시키는 주요 경험으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 주요경험들은 수련과정에 대한 동기 및 기대, 발달에 영향을 미치는 관계적 요인, 수련 기관의 환경적 요인 등에 의해 지지, 촉진되는 것으로 드러났다. 이상의 연구 결과는 인턴 상담원의 전문성의 발달의 과정을 확인하고 초심 상담자들을 훈련하는 현장에서 교육과정을 계획하고 운영하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objective of this study is to examine how the Critical Incidents(CIs) Experience of counselor interns affects their development as professionals. Fifteen counselors who currently in or just finished their counseling internship were interviewed with consensual qualitative research(CQR) to investigate the role of CIs experience in the counselor development. The analysis showed that the significant experience for counselors are categorized by six major domains(i. e. meeting with client, identity development, counseling skill, motive & expectation from training, influencing relationship, and environment of training site) and the corresponding 32 subcategories. Additionally, the three major interactional factors(meeting with client, identity development, and counseling skill) play main roles in developing careers, while the others play a role in supporting and facilitating the process. Furthermore, these results help to understand the progress of beginners into the experts, as well as to design educational program for junior counselors.
