Excluding 148 copies of dishonest data from the recollected surveys, 262 copies were used as analysis data in this study.
The data was analyzed using SPSS 12.0 to secure validity and reliability of the survey through factory analysis and reliability test, and executed t-test to verify the difference and one-way ANOVA to calculate average and standard deviation according to the population and social properties. Also, the relationship between the level of recognition and satisfaction for physical education of young children was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient.
The results were following.

The recognition for the need of physical education of young children was considerably high, but there was no significant difference according to gender, age, and whether or not the mother has an occupation, and the need for physical education of young children were recognized on a higher level when the level of education and income of parents were higher. Also, parents with experience in physical activities and parents with male children have significantly higher recognition for the need for physical education of young children.
