The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of values clarificationtraining for middle school students' ego-identity.

Values clarification training will improve ego-identity of middle school students.
The subjects of this study were to students who were in the first, second gradeof middle school in Pohang. The values clarification training was carried out twice a week for 12 sessions.(each session took from 60 to 80 minutes.)
The effectiveness of values clarification training was measured with the values clarification test that was developed by Yi Kyoung-ae(1998) and Ego-identity Test that was developed by Park Ah-chung(1996).
The analysis materials were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and further-tests. The SPSS for windows 10.0 was used for the statistical analysis, and the statistical significance level for the hypothetical verification was set at .05
As the result of this study and related theory or precedent are considered togher, the conclusions of this study are as follows ;
"Values clarification training improves ego-identity of middle school students."
