청소년용 부적응적 사고 척도의 개발 및 예비 타당화 연구 = Development and Preliminary Validation of the Maladaptive Thoughts Scale for Adolescents

The purposes of this study were to develop an instrument for the assessment of maladaptive thoughts related to internalizing-externalizing problems in adolescents and to verify its factor structure, reliability and validity. A preliminary version of the Maladaptive Thought Scale (MTS-A) was administered to 740 adolescents. Exploratory factor analysis exhibited that the MTS-A was composed of 44 items with nine factors: Jumping to conclusions, self-debasing, minimizing problem behaviors, self-serving, demand for perfection and approval, self-blame, other-blame, low tolerance, and maximizing negative experiences. The MTS-A exhibited adequate internal consistency and item-total correlation. The MTS-A also showed adequate construct and discriminant validity. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 내면화와 외현화문제에 관련되는 부적응적 사고를 측정하는 도구를 개발하고, 척도의 요인구조 및 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하고자 하였다. 기존 문헌을 토대로 부적응적 사고에 대한 개념적 명확성을 확립하고, 전문가의 내용타당도 평정을 거쳐 예비척도를 구성하였다. 이를 중고등학생 740명에게 실시하여 탐색적 요인분석을 거쳐 9요인구조(임의결론내리기, 자기비하, 문제행동 과소평가, 자기중심화, 완벽과 인정추구, 자기비난, 타인비난, 낮은 인내력, 부정경험 과대평가)로 이루어진 총 44문항의 부적응적 사고척도를 개발하였다. 내적일치도와 요인별 문항총점간 상관계수를 통해 살펴본 결과, 부적응적 사고척도는 만족할만한 신뢰도를 나타내었고, 아동청소년용 자동적 사고 척도(K-CATS) 및 수정판 일반적 태도 및 신념척도(R-GABS)와 유의미한 정적상관을 보여 적절한 수준의 공인타당도를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 내면화-외현화문제행동에 따라 분류된 집단간에 부적응적 사고 척도 점수에서 유의미한 차이를 보여 적절한 수준의 변별타당도를 지닌 것으로 보인다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계에 대하여 논의하였다.
