한국어 교육을 위한 수량사구 연구 -말뭉치 분석을 중심으로- = A Research on the numeral phrases for Korean language education - Focusing on corpus analysis -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In Korean, the numeral phrase consists of multiple elements such as number words, unit nouns, and quantification target nouns. Various numeral phrases differ in meaning, function, and environment in which they are used in the sentence. It is necessary to define the proper context for using the numeral phrases in Korean teaching and learning situations. Previous works did not reflect all the possible combinations for numeral phrases. In this work, we aim to rebuild the classification of the numeral phrases and describe the features and meanings for each category focusing on corpus analysis. we classified the numeral phrases in six classes and developed a new class based on bundled quantity; mainly we divided into two main categories that we named single and complex composition respectively. The previous categories composed the first level of hierarchical structure that evaluated if the numeral phrases include quantification target noun. We derived complex composition, into bundled quantity, pre-composition, and postcomposition categories by the nature and location of the quantification target nouns in the sentence. As a result of our study, the proposed classification expanded the study of numeral phrases by analyzing corpus data and emphasized its significance as a primary work for the pedagogical grammar for the numeral phrases.
