광양만권경제자유구역의 혁신생태계 조성을 위한 산업단지 연계분석 = Analysis of the linkage of cluster for the creation of an innovative ecosystem in the Gwanyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone

Research Purpose: The Korean government is striving to systematize and advance the innovation ecosystem centered on the core strategic industry of the Free Economic Zone. Accordingly, the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone also needs to come up with a cluster-based plan that can create an innovative ecosystem and strengthen business capabilities.
Research Methods: This study aims to measure the concentration of core strategic industries by analyzing the linkage of the Gwangyang Bay Area cluster, and through this, confirm the level of activation of the regional innovation system. Specifically, 19,227 companies that moved into the Gwangyang Bay Area cluster in 2022 were classified by industry and the location coefficient was measured to confirm the degree of connection between clusters.
Results in Research: As a result of the analysis, the adequacy of the core strategic industry in the Gwangyang Bay Area was confirmed, and industries that could be added as core strategic industries were also confirmed.
Research Conclusion: This paper is meaningful in that it empirically analyzed the appropriateness of core strategic industries for cluster in the Gwangyang Bay Area. The higher the linkage within the cluster, the stronger the core strategic industry can be. The strengthening of core strategic industries will contribute to the creation of an innovation ecosystem in the Gwangyang Bay Area by revitalizing the regional innovation system.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대한민국은 경제자유구역의 핵심전략산업을 중심으로 혁신생태계를 체계화하고 고도화하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 이에따라 광양만권경제자유구역도 혁신생태계를 조성할 수 있는 클러스터의 기반을 조성하고 비즈니스의 역량을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 마련해야 한다. 본 연구는 광양만권 산업단지의 연계를 분석함으로써, 핵심전략산업의 집중도를 측정하고 이를통해 지역혁신체계의 활성화 수준을 확인하고자 한다. 구체적으로2022년에 광양만권 산업단지에 입주해 있는 19,227개의 업체를 업종별로 구분하여 입지계수를 측정함으로써산업단지 간의 연계정도를 확인하였다. 분석결과, 광양만권경제자유구역의 핵심전략산업에 대해 적절성을확인하였고, 핵심전략산업으로 추가할 수 있는 업종도 확인할 수 있었다. 본 논문은 광양만권 산업단지를대상으로 핵심전략산업의 적절성을 실증분석 하였다는데 의의가 있다. 산업단지 내에서 연계가 높을수록핵심전략산업은 강화될 수 있다. 이러한 핵심전략산업의 강화는 지역혁신체계를 활성화함으로써, 광양만권혁신생태계의 조성에 기여할 것이다.
