음악 교과목 내의 합창수업이 청소년기 인격형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 대구·경북지역 고등학교를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 합창수업이 청소년들의 인격형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 설문조사를 통해 알아보고, 음악교육의 중요성 및 필요성을 재조명하는데 있다.
본 연구의 방법 및 절차는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행 연구와 여러 문헌을 통해, 청소년의 정의와 특성을 알아보았다. 둘째, 대구·경북지역 5개 고등학교 2학년에 재학 중인 학생 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.
이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악수업에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보였지만, 수업내용에 대한 인지도는 낮은 편이었다. 둘째, 사회적 발달 영역에서는 합창 수업을 통해 협동심, 인내심, 책임감에 대한 인식 측면에서 긍정적인 응답률을 보였고, 교우관계, 교사와의 관계 측면에서도 긍정적인 응답률이 나타났다. 하지만 가족들과의 관계개선에 대해서는 비교적 낮은 응답률을 보였다. 셋째, 정서 발달 영역에서 선율의 흐름, 경쾌한 리듬, 감수성, 정서적 효과에 대해 긍정적인 응답률이 나타났다.
본 연구를 통해 합창수업이 청소년기의 학생들에게 긍정적이고 영향력 있는 수업이지만 학업성취도 변화, 가족들과의 관계개선, 사회봉사활동의 변화에는 기대치에 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 음악교과와 전문성을 활용한 인성교육 프로그램의 결합이 좀 더 개선될 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of choir class in music course on the formation of adolescent personality through survey and reconsider the importance as well as the necessity of music education.
The method and procedures for the research are as follows: First, the definition and characteristics of adolescent were investigated through precedent studies and references. Second, a survey was conducted to 200 sophomore students from 5 high schools in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region.
The results of this study are as follows: First, most had a positive reaction towards the music class, however, the awareness of the course contents was low. Second, in the field of social development, they showed a positive response rate regarding cooperation, patience, and responsibility awareness through choir class, as well as regarding friendship and relationship with teachers. However, there was a relatively low response rate in regards to the family relationship improvement. Third, in the field of emotional development, there was a positive response rate regarding the melody flow, cheerful rhythm, sensitivity, and emotional effect.
The study showed that choir class does have a positive and effective impact on students in their adolescence. However, its impact did not meet the expectations of their academic achievement change, family relationship improvement, and social community service change. Therefore, an enhancement of the combination of personality education program utilizing music course and professionalism is suggested.
